“I had Froio's do some trimming and pruning today. They did a wonderful job and thoroughly cleaned up before leaving. My sidewalks are cleaner than before they came. One of the owners, Dan, was here the entire time, working along with the workers. They were very professional and I am very happy with the work that they did. I will definitely be calling them in the future for any work that I need to have done.” -Dale G.
Our lawn mowing services include grass cutting, weed whacking your borders and blowing off walkways, driveways and mulched beds from grass clippings for a finished look. We are in communication with our customers with changes or delays to the schedule caused by inclement weather or holidays. Services start at $45 per week.
We offer a variety of trimmings depending on the season. In spring our trimming excludse items that have buds or blooms so that you can continue to enjoy their natural beauty. Summer trimmings will remove the blooms that have died off. Fall trimmings focus on preparing these items for winter, which can cause damage during inclement weather. Consult with our experts to know which season is best to trim your specific shrubs and bushes.
As the weather begins to warm up, your grass is ready to grow, but debris on the lawn can deprive your grass of its necessary nutrients of oxygen and sunlight. Froio’s Lawn & Landscape will remove any downed branches and other debris such as remaining leaves.
Let us remove any downed branches or limbs (excluding leaves) from your yard to prepare you for the winter months.
Why should you clean up the leaves from your property every season? Leaf build-up can take a toll on the health of your lawn. A lawn that was previously green and healthy can suffer from sunlight restriction and the absence of nutrients and when covered in leaves and may not receive the water it needs to be healthy. Raking leaves is time-consuming and may take hours to do, but our experts at Froio’s Lawn & Landscape can take care of your leaf clean up and remove them from the property.
We use family and pet-friendly materials, which contain an organic fertilizer as a blanket treatment and then a spot-treatment of weed control. At the start of the growing season, we apply pre-emergent crabgrass control and fertilizer with a quick and controlled release material to help to initiate the transition to a nice, green color for spring. Each of our programs also includes a grub application to proactively protect your turf from grub damage.
This season, make your lawn the envy of the entire neighborhood by growing green, luscious and healthy grass. Our fertilizing programs make this easy to achieve. The key is a proper application by working around the weather with our use of granular and liquid applications depending on the season and weather. Our team of professional and licensed applicators have the knowledge and experience to properly apply natural fertilizers and custom-applied weed control products to make your lawn green and healthy.

Lime is applied to the soil when a low pH is found in soil testing. We don’t automatically provide this service with our fertilizing program because many homes in our area do not require it. Depending on the deficit, the total lime necessary to bring your soil up to an appropriate level may require multiple applications.
Soil testing tells us how to care for your lawn and keep it healthy. We will collect various samples of soil from your property, send it to the lab for testing and provide an interpretation of the results.
Aeration helps alleviate soil compaction, which restricts the flow of air, water and nutrients to the root zone and deters the build-up of thatch. At Froio’s Lawn & Landscape, we recommend overseeding in the fall, in conjunction with our fertilizing and weed control programs, to build up turf density and fill in bare spots. Overseeding can also be done in the spring, if preferred.
The removal of grass and rocks from the soil.
An excessive thatch layer creates a favorable environment for disease. Dethatching removes dead grass at the which prevents water and oxygen from reaching live grass, roots and soil.
We use a special piece of machinery/equipment to rotate and break up the soil to prevent over-compacting and allow moisture and nutrients to spread evenly and easily through it.
Over time, natural debris like sticks, dead leaves, overgrowth and trash can build up around your property, particularly in those hard-to-reach spaces. We will clear out that debris and make your outdoor spaces look fresh and clean.
Low or sinking areas in paver patios and walkways can be repaired by our experienced team. We can build up the areas with proper bases meeting the Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association (CMHA) standards. We will give an honest evaluation and let you know if repair or complete replacement is right for you. We also power wash hardscaped areas and supply and install new polymeric sand in between pavers.
