Landscape Foreman

Job Description

 

Froio’s Lawn & Landscape is a well-established landscape company that has been servicing customers for over ten years. As our business continues to grow, so do the needs of our customers and needs of the company. We are looking to hire a landscape foreman with prior landscape experience to join our team. This is a year-round position that will allow the qualified individual to work in various elements within our company on an ongoing basis with guaranteed income.

 

Our projects include; trimming trees/bushes, flower bed preparation and mulch installation, power washing, and tree/plant installation and removal, grass seed and sod installation. Use of power tools and other machinery are a necessity to complete a landscape job from start to finish. Hardscape experience/knowledge, fertilizing licensing and snow plowing experience are also preferred but not required.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and plans to lay out projects and pass this information along to colleagues

• Tree and plant installation and removal

• Flower bed preparation and mulch installation

• Train team members and recruit new employees

• Oversee crew members, assign daily tasks and ensure jobs are completed in designated time

• Crew leader of other employees and direct point of contact with management

• Handle on-site customer concerns/questions

 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in landscaping such as design, installation and maintenance with trimming, mulching and planting is a MUST

• Strong working knowledge of job site safety

• Valid drivers license and ability to drive truck and trailer, use of tractor, skid loader, backhoe.

• Strong leadership and ability to work in a team environment

• Strong work ethic and work drive to complete necessary tasks

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

• Dependable, trustworthy and punctual

• Drug free at all times

 

 

Offer competitive wages based on experience. Sign-on bonus given to qualified foreman for successfully completing 90 days with our company. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.
